About Bettyhill Caravan & Camping
A small, friendly campsite at the northern Sutherland village of Bettyhill, close to the excellent Farr Bay beach. The site is simple but comfortable, and the village is worth more time than most travellers give it. Strathnaver Museum in the old church is one of the most emotionally resonant places on the NC500 — it tells the story of the Highland Clearances through the eyes of the people who were evicted. The beach at Farr Bay is superb, and the River Naver here is a famous salmon fishing river.

🚐 Motorhome Tip
Visit the Strathnaver Museum without fail — it's small but deeply moving. Farr Bay beach is one of the finest and least-crowded on the north coast. The campsite owner is knowledgeable about local wildlife and fishing.
